Hannah Hyunja Lee is a Korean-American pianist who completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree of piano and chamber music at Seoul National University in Korea and then continued her doctoral studies at the Conservatoire National in France. She served as the artistic director of Bijoux chamber orchestra and the planning director of Coreano-Francaise de Musiciens Organization (Korea-France Music Association), while performing and teaching as faculty at various universities.
Her music education and career is founded in her belief that God gave her a gift and she is called to serve the music ministry in His purpose. She has worked as music director and pianist/organist at multiple churches in South Korea, France, and US such as St. Matthews UMC in Virginia, Princeton Presbyterian Church in New Jersey, etc. ever since her college years. Hannah’s vision as a Christian musician is to glorify God through joyful harmonies in worship, uniting diverse voices and instruments to share the Gospel and connect with our community.
Aside from music, Hannah loves being in nature, has a heart for animals, and enjoys walking and hiking, as well as painting, photography, and attending live performances. She is an avid coffee lover – her day always starts with freshly-brewed coffee scents while grinding beans to make a cup of pour-over coffee.
Hannah is honored to serve God as Music Director at Our Savior's since 2026 and is excited to contribute towards the vision of OSLC ministry through her faith and experience. She prays that anyone should be able to enjoy beautiful worship music at church, and music can help bring people closer to God.
